Who May Use SPOTZ
You must be at least 13 years old to use SPOTZ. If a higher minimum age or parental consent is required where you live, you may use SPOTZ only if that requirement is met.
You must be legally able to enter into these terms and use SPOTZ in compliance with the laws and rules that apply to you.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account.
Accounts And Profiles
SPOTZ accounts are created with Firebase Authentication using sign-in credentials. Your username, display name, bio, profile image, and public profile details may be shown with spots, comments, and replies.
Do not impersonate another person, reserve misleading usernames, attempt to access another account, or use SPOTZ after your account has been suspended or removed.
User-Generated Content
SPOTZ lets users upload photo spots, photos, location details, descriptions, categories, comments, replies, favorites, likes, profile information, and reports.
You keep ownership of content you create, but you grant SPOTZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, resize, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, moderate, promote, and improve SPOTZ.
You are responsible for the content you upload or submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share photos, text, people, property, and location information through SPOTZ.
Photo And Location Responsibility
Only upload photos you created, own, or are allowed to use. Do not upload stolen photos, private images without permission, or content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Spot details and map pins should be accurate and lawful. Do not encourage trespassing, unsafe behavior, property damage, harassment, or access to restricted or sensitive locations.
Comments And Replies
Comments and replies should be relevant, respectful, and useful to the SPOTZ community.
Do not post harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, illegal content, spam, scams, doxxing, or intentionally misleading information.
Reports And Moderation
Users can report spots, comments, replies, profiles, safety concerns, and other content for review. Reports may include account identifiers, target content, reason, details, timestamps, and moderation status.
Users can also block creator profiles. Blocking is intended to hide that creator and their content from your normal app experience.
SPOTZ may review, hide, remove, restrict, suspend, terminate, or preserve content and accounts when needed to enforce these terms, protect users, investigate abuse, maintain service integrity, or comply with legal obligations.
We aim to review reports as soon as possible, but we do not guarantee a specific moderation outcome or response time.
Copyright And Intellectual Property
Do not upload photos, text, names, logos, or other material that violates someone else's rights. If you believe content on SPOTZ infringes your copyright or other rights, contact support@spotzapp.app with enough information for us to review the request.
SPOTZ names, logos, designs, software, and brand assets are owned by SPOTZ or its licensors. You may not copy or misuse them except as allowed by law or written permission.
Service Providers
SPOTZ uses Firebase for authentication, Firestore database storage, syncing, and app infrastructure. SPOTZ uses Cloudinary for uploaded image storage and delivery.
We may use analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, messaging, notifications, or similar tools if enabled in the app to operate, secure, understand, and improve SPOTZ.
Availability And Changes
SPOTZ is provided as-is and may change, pause, or become unavailable without notice. Maps, distance labels, nearby sorting, user content, and location data may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Always use your own judgment when visiting locations. Follow local laws, property rules, safety guidance, and posted restrictions.
Early User Premium Promotion
The first 500 registered users will receive SPOTZ Premium free for one year.
The one-year promotional period starts when SPOTZ Premium becomes available, not when the user registers. Premium features may not be available immediately at launch.
Users must maintain a valid SPOTZ account to receive or keep promotional access. SPOTZ reserves the right to modify or discontinue the promotion if required for legal, technical, or business reasons.
Termination
You may stop using SPOTZ at any time and may delete your account from the app. SPOTZ may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account or content violates these terms or creates risk for users, the service, or others.
Some information may remain after account deletion when needed for moderation history, security, legal compliance, backup integrity, or to avoid removing other users' content.
Disclaimers And Liability
SPOTZ is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SPOTZ is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by user content, location inaccuracies, unavailable services, or third-party providers.
Dispute Handling
If you have a concern or dispute, contact support@spotzapp.app first so we can try to resolve it informally.
Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or rights you may have under applicable law.
